Matt/satin: gunze matt clear thinned with regular thinner. It may require more than a single pass over really glossy surfaces and/or if over thinned. Most people in the US use Testors Dullcote. AreRevell model kits any good? Revell model kits have been a popular choice among model enthusiasts for many years. They offer a wide range of models, from classic cars to military aircraft, and Mostmodelers today weren't around in the 60's, when AMT Corporation sold more model car kits annually than did Revell across their entire line (AMT produced ONLY car kits back then, Revell did aircraft, ships, a few armor kits, and some car kits). In point of fact, through most of the 60's, AMT Corporation had nearly 50% of the ENTIRE plastic Nah here (eastern Europe) it's almost impossible to find things like that, even in hobby stores, maximum there are revell models, and in just few stores around the country. And even Amazon doesn't do delivery here so it's very tough with Revellmust be the kaka of modeling. Revell must be the kaka of modeling! I am in the process of building Satern V rocket and the two halfs are at least a .032 off from each other. Absolutely great service! I'll be being him more Revell kits due to their good build quality and great customer service. Revell, you've made my boy very happy 11Revell 05722 – F4U-4 Corsair Flying Bulls. If you’re new to model building and don’t want to spend so much on a kit, this model will be a good starter kit. The Corsair is a fine kit with durable and high-quality parts. Ihave a pro modeler of the ta154a moskito and from what I have seen of it,it is good.I also know from putting together those big 48scale kits of Monogram that they Modelslike this do, however, fulfil an important role as an "everymodeller" kit - a straightforward build at a reasonable price. These kits are worthy successors to the classic 1/32 scale Revell kits of the 1960s. I am very pleased that Revell has added the Hurricane to their list of new tool projects. Purchased by Reviewer Imo revel have a much much larger range of kits. I think I could say they do more kits than any other manufacturer but don't hold me to this. I prefer revell over airfix because as mentioned they have more kits and a larger variety of subjects. e.g revell do quite a few 1/48 jets. Airfix do barely any. That said, airfix's new toolings in Goodluck Rob, If you do buy the Revell kit beware of the wing detail as the original kit had Mk.I gun bays but a poor quality set of cannons were later added including the bulges above the wing but the machine gun access bays were left in place! As for the PCM kit this is a good model of a Hurricane in 1.32nd scale , however I am finding Bandais kits are highly detailed, snap fit kits, though I've heard mixed things about the star destroyer. Some have claimed fit problems. Revell makes or distributes several star destroyers, from a very simple "build and play" version, to Zvezda's huge one, to possibly importing Bandai's version as a European distributor. You should check. GX7xi.
